Sport Relief, March 2008.

Our congratulations to all who ran ‘The Stamfordham School Mile and beyond!’ I trust that participants and spectators alike very much enjoyed the experience - lots of fun for such a worthy cause, raising money for projects to improve the lives of some of the most disadvantaged and impoverished in the world - refreshments alone raised over £100!

Eight times around our school field is certainly challenging, I felt it seemed slightly longer! Many congratulations one and all! Plans are forming as we speak, maybe a village-wide event sometime in the summer? Watch this space…
