Systems for hire:

We are currently updating our hire systems for the 2009 season.

So far over the years we have powered all manner of things at many different events including stages, sound systems, lighting, radio stations, cafes, and so on, and have a good bit of experience at power provision, and knowing what we can and can't power.

Our systems are very well built and highly reliable - we have met many event organisers who (through experience) expect solar/wind rigs to drop out halfway through an event and are impressed when our systems perform as we have said. Indeed we have often bailed out less reliable rigs powering critical loads when they run out of juice!

Additionally we provide a very interesting presence on site, and provide a friendly information and advice service on renewable energy for everyone, I usually barely stop answering questions the whole time we are on site (to the annoyance of my family!). We also carry all kinds of tools and spares and often help out with other systems experiencing problems.

Now for the interesting part!

New 2009 power systems:

Horsebox mounted solar/wind system, comes in our beautiful old 1962 bedford TK (a site attraction on its own!) specs are as follows:

Trailer mounted solar system, compact system, measures 6 by 13 feet, can be parked in a car sized space. Enormous solar array (8x10feet), looks amazing!

The systems can be linked to form a larger system, although peak inverter output will not be increased (generation and storage capacities are added), using the ups aspect of the studer compact inverter.

We are currently working on some solar powered floodlighting for events, they will be pole mounted and capable of lighting areas like gates, toilets, 'health and safety' hazard places. These should be pretty cheap to hire and we will have several. Watch this space...
